Jennifer Hollack

A native of the southwest, Jennifer Hollack spent much of her early childhood in Houston. In 1975, her family moved to San Francisco where she began to cultivate her desire to become an architect. This fascination for buildings and their design was further developed when she moved to Arizona, where she currently resides.

While attending the University of Arizona in Tucson, Hollack studied many different aspects of architecture and the fine arts. Drafting, illustration, photography, watercolor, and model building were among the techniques she developed there. Hollack also attended the Aegean Center for the Arts in Paros, Greece, where she added sculpture, printmaking, and life drawing to her repertoire of skills in producing art, prints and posters. While studying abroad, she traveled extensively throughout Europe as well as Egypt, Israel and Turkey. Hollack received her Bachelor's degree in Architecture in 1991.

Hollack's love of exotic cultures, peoples and environments is a clear influence on her art, prints and posters at Phoenix Art Group, Inc. Through watercolor, etching and mixed media she is able to express her fascination with color, texture and pattern.
