Whether hunting or just watching waterfowl in flight, early evening can be a spectacular viewing time. If they are broken clouds, the warm light from the setting sun will cast a fiery glow not only on the clouds; but the birds in reflected water as well. Wanting to capture this complete feeling inspired me to do this painting.
