The spirit of sharing is beautifully extended to the world of nature in this holiday scene. To help wildlife survive the winter, the farmer has temptingly placed two corn shocks at the open side of his house. A welcoming wreath hangs near the door for human visitors. And a Christmas tree warmly beckons in the window as two late-leaving mallards glide down for a needed meal.
