'I wanted to create a really strong composition but with a lot of contrast, elegance, and soul - in the tradition of the great Max Field Parrish. There's a contrast between this sweet little girl, who's small and soft, and the window. There's also a contrast between light and dark and quite a contrast in colors. The result made me very happy, and I hope it will please you as well.'
