Not very long ago, riding a carousel with its beautifully painted horses and listening to its wonderful music was a delightful treat and a perfect way to share an afternoon with family and friends. The carousel horses gave you quite a choice. There were different sizes and colors. There were some which stood still and some which moved up and down. Some could even carry two riders at once. Among the horses were ornately decorated benches called chariots, for those who preferred to sit side by side - perhaps closing their eyes to dream for a while.

Perhaps someone discovered this horse in an attic, a garage or an old storage area and decided it was time for him to be social again. Treated with a lot of loving care, this carousel pony may be alone, but he's not been forgotten. It's always nice to see an old friend from our childhood days, isn't it? And isn't it always a pleasure to recall happy memories.
