February 2011 marked the 35th anniversary of Jon's decision to pursue his career full time. To celebrate this occasion, Jon Crane decided to print a piece from the past. 'Solstice Sun' was painted in 1989 and appeared in Gail's coffee table book on Jon. This piece generated more response than any other non-printed painting in the book, so Jon decided 'Solstice Sun' would make a very appropriate 35th Anniversary Print.
