Yosemite Valley is one of the most famous sights on earth. The surrounding granite peaks and domes such as El Capitan and Half Dome rise more than 3,000 feet above the valley floor. Two of the five waterfalls that cascade over the valley's rim are among the world's ten highest. Much of the country is accessible only to backpackers and horseback riders. In the past, men made their way across the peaceful Merced River as they explore new regions of the Yosemite Valley. Half Dome towers behind them as the setting sun casts shadow across the water. This day was certainly custom-made for a "Cowboy's Time to Reflect" on all things that make life worth living.
