Abilene Collection: A cold snowy night for a screening of Gone With The Wind at the old Paramount Theatre in downtown Abilene,Texas. The Paramount Theatre in Abilene is a gem of a building and perhaps the most recognizable structure in town. I liked painting it in the snow and with 'Gone With the Wind' on the marquee. The 'atmospheric' scenes create a mood and invite more mental engagement by the viewer, I believe. The 'moody' feel can help resurrect a bundle of recollections and expectations in each of us.
