Dusan Kadlec pursued his interest in art from a very early age, ultimately studying at the Academy of Fine arts in Prague where he received a Masters Degree in 1967. This academic training is apparent in his old world painting style. The compositions of his canvases reflect the tradition of the great European masters, and embody the Romantic Classicism that is a nineteenth century academic trademark. His reputation as an accompolished painter continues to rise, making him one of the most respected and sought after marine and historical artists working today.
