The wood thrush belongs to the family of the American robin. It has always been one of my favorite birds, because of its wonderful singing range. It has a great repertoire of songs. The thrush keeps singing even after sunset filling evenings with poetry. According to the naturalists, it is said birds only sing to tell other birds this is my territory. Personally, I favor the idea that they also sing to express their joy of life. When such a bird lands on a rocky wall covered with climbing plants blanketed with colorful flowers next to an old cottage in the countryside, the excitement is complete.

When you are an artist, your mind brims over with ideas. Having to wait before you can get to your studio and start painting becomes frustrating. Singer in Paradise was very demanding to create since its details required so many more hours of work.
