Dutch Belt Haven, a signed and numbered 14x23 litho by artist Bonnie Mohr, depicts a small herd of peaceful Dutch Belt dairy cows grazing peacefully in an autumn pasture landscape scene.
A note from the artist:
Better known as the Oreo-Cookie Cow, the Dutch Belt dairy cow remains a curiously interesting bovine. In the day, I just 'had to have' a couple of these, and they served as my models for this painting.
Due to their smaller size and stature, we later sold them. Being mixed in the herd with our more aggressive Holsteins was a disadantage and sometimes 'tough' for them.
