Tilly Milton

Artist Biography

Tilly Milton, an independent professional artist since 1965, first expressed a natural interest in art (prints and posters, etc) and music during her very early childhood in Vancouver, B.C., where she was born and raised.

With brief training at the former Vancouver School of Art and a period of independent study, Tilly Milton has developed a distinct personal style. Traditionally influenced, her oil and acrylic art, prints and posters contain a great diversity of subject matter, with a constant focus on expressive shadow and light.

Tilly has received awards for her art, prints and posters, participated in television demonstrations, and taught a course in arts. Her work can be found throughout the world. Tilly Milton works and resides in B.C. with her husband and daughter.
