Guillaume Azoulay

Guillaume Azoulay has known success from an early age. He is the youngest person to ever have his work accepted into the pernmanent archives of the Musee du Louvre in Paris. Azoulay was born in Morocco in 1949 and by age thirteen, he was traveling around the world painting and acting. In Isreal, he met his wife Charmaine Seal, a prominent Welsh ballerina. Together, the moved to the United States in 1976, where Azoulay has continued his storied career.

The trademark of Anzoulay's style is the use of lines as a means of expressing motion and fluid movement while building sentiments of depth, balance, contrast, and emotion. Over the years, he has built a sizable portfolio of work which spans many subjects. He is well known for creating the official Kentucky Derby Festival poster in 1983. His work is held in many prestigious private and public collections, including those of the Reagan Estate, the Royal Family of Morocco, a variety of Hollywood stars and celebrities, the Louvre, and other museums worldwide.

Today, Azoulay and Charmaine reside in California, where he continues to create his breathtaking and evocative art.
