Lesley Harrison Biography:
Growing up in Sacramento, California, animals have been a major part of Lesley Harrison's life since childhood. She ran an art gallery in Arizona, and in 1975, began painting in pastel. Consisting of layer upon layer of the chalky pigment, her vibrant art, prints and posters are often mistaken for oils. To achieve the highest degree of realism, Harrison works on velour paper that absorbs the line and color, or sandpaper that shows the most detail.  >>click here for more
