The photographer Bill Philip was born in 1946 and brought up in Scotland and the Lake District. From an early age he was influenced by the power of the landscapes, mountains, lochs and seas that surrounded his childhood homes and these echoes can be seen in much of his art, prints and posters today.
Using a combination of traditional photographic skills and digital technology, Bill Philip's art, prints and posters have been seen around the world and have been recognized with the granting of a number of artistic awards.
Some awards include the Kodak Portrait Award and a print award from the British Institute of Incorporated Photographers. He is a founder Member of the Arundel Gallery Trail and his art, prints and posters have been exhibited throughout the United Kingdom.
