In the crisp winter air, children's voices mix with the aroma of toasting marshmallows and the crackle of a glowing bonfire. Each of the toasters has his or her own special technique to produce that 'just right' golden brown delicacy. On a nearby knoll three deer quietly observe the festive scene. They have not gone unnoticed. Two of the children have sensed their presence and peer up toward the secluded hiding place.
