I live in the middle of glorious golf country in Pebble Beach. I'm surrounded by golf enthusiasts, so I know that their golf balls are constantly getting buried in the sand. Therefore, I think an ostrich would be a wise addition to your golf bag.

I borrowed a golf bag from a friend and brought it right into my studio. It was a devil shoving that ostrich into the bag. There were feathers everywhere. No, seriously, we had a couple of ostrich at the petting zoo of our country fair. When I got home I thought they'd make a marvelous addition to a golf game. After all, their heads look like golf clubs, anyway.
