Wayne Spradley's artistic talent became evident very early in his life. In grade school he was always asked to make prints and posters for his teachers and props for school plays. He would not make a career move to become a full-time professional artist until 1968.
Today he is one of the South's leading artists of art, prints and posters, and the recipient of over three hundred art awards.
The Alabama Legislative Wives Association selected one of Spradley's paintings to be displayed in the new Alabama State House. Wayne Spradley's art, prints and posters are in the collections of numerous corporations, private collectors, and museums.
