Virginia Erguin was born in Bilbao, Spain on December 30, 1968. The daughter of Spanish painter Vasco Ignacio Garcia Erguin, Virginia spent her childhood amongst his canvases and paintings, and travelling to his worldwide exhibitions of art, prints and posters.
In school, Virginia studied advertising and classical drawing. In 1993, she spent a year on the island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. There she had her first solo exhibition of art, prints and posters.
In 1994, Virginia was selected to participate in the 13th edition of the Premio Blanco y Negro de ABC collective exhibition at Casa de Vacas in Madrid, Spain. Virginia’s art, prints and posters have since been featured in numerous exhibitions.
