Ted Goerschner received a broad education in art, attending the Newark, New Jersey School of Fine and Industrial Art, Tampa University in Florida, and the Art Student's League in New York City. Goerschner has remained committed to art education, teaching at workshops and art schools for over twenty years.
His impressionist landscapes have won wide acclaim. Being a person who loves the outdoors, fishing, and golf, Goerschner feels incredibly blessed to live in California's pristine Santa Ynez Valley. The area has a powerful influence, stimulating his artistic sensibility. His travels through Europe appear to chariot charismatic creativity as well.
Goerschner was recently made a master signature member of Oil Painters of America, and was named Oil Painter of America for the year 2001.
