Sarah Waldron lives and works on the Northern coast of California. She has earned a BFA from Washington State University and her MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
The primary focus of Waldron's paintings is her observation of changes within nature. She spotlights moments in nature, which may not normally exist for long periods of time, but through her painting she captures them in a unique way. During her painting process, she utilizes thick paint to create a unique texture on canvas, almost abstract when viewed up close, but when the viewer steps back, the image evolves into realism.
Sarah Waldron lives with her husband and their beloved dog. She taught for three years at the Academy and current;y teaches art workshops throughout the bay area.
