Born in New Jersey, Robert Hoglund is an MFA graduate of the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. The central theme of Robert's art, prints and posters is his use of Greek and Roman imagery. He achieves a sense of what he terms "architectural abstracting' by creating a one of a kind original monotype as a base and enhancing them with multimedia painting over the surface.
Robert has recently developed a new and exciting figurative style art, prints and posters that is reminiscent of the Greek and Roman sculpture. Along with this style, he has also begun experimenting with colorful tile-like pieces inspired by medieval tilework.
Robert Hoglund's art, prints and posters can be viewed in several national and international expos and many private collections.
