Larry Miller

A native of California, Larry Miller studied art at San Jose State University, earning a B.A. and M.A. in Art History. He continued his education with advanced studies at the Rhode Island School of Design, the University of California, Berkeley, and the L.A. Art Center in Pasadena, California. Miller is a member of Delta Phi Delta, art honors society.

The California landscape has always held a fascination for Miller, and his landscape paintings focus on both the mountain and coastal regions of his home state.

His work has been exhibited widely, including showings at the San Francisco Museum of Art, the Oakland Museum, Monterey Peninsula Art Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Zellerbach Kqed Silver Anniversary Exhibit and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Miller is active throughout his community; he has acted as a juror for many bay area art shows and contributes art to various non-profit organizations and schools as fundraisers. Larry Miller also acted as the chairman of San Mateo High School's art department for 33 years, while there he taught advanced placement art history and studio art.

Larry Miller's home and studio are both currently located in Pebble Beach, California.
