Interested in the depiction of color and movement on canvas, Keith Siddle started out in 1984 at Maidstone Art College (UK) after which he joined the Retigraphic Society (now the Pratt Contemporary Arts) as an Apprentice Fine Art Screen Printer, qualifying as a Master Printer in 1988, the basis of his success in art, prints and posters.
Keith Siddle has worked with internationally renowned artists, such as Roni Wood of the Rolling Stones. In 1992, Keith left Pratt to become a professional artist specialising in Koi art, and working mainly on commissions of his art, prints and posters.
An admirer of the Japenese artist, Hokusai, Keith Siddle creates a three dimensional effect in his original art, prints and posters by using heavy rag paper, layers of acrylic colour and hand embosses each scale on a fish. Although a tedious process, the result is stunning.
