Daniel Pollera was raised and educated on Long Island and is a self-taught artist, who has also worked with well-known muralist Everett Molinari. Inspired by such artists as Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth, Daniel paints art, prints and posters in a realistic style.
His art, prints and posters are crisp and have a photographic quality that capture a strong mood and sometimes melancholy-like feeling. Drawing from personal life experiences, he lures the viewer in with sharp, almost magical realism through a series of interesting compositions.
Daniel's art, prints and posters has been purchased by many private and corporate collectors, including South Nassau Hospital and Mobile Alabama and the Hudson Anglers Fishing Organization. He assisted F.N. Streit to help paint a historical mural for Roslyn Savings Bank. His work has also been featured in Boating World Magazine, Newsday and the New York Times.
